Modern Slaver and Human Trafficking Statement For Financial Year Ending 2025
1. Introduction
This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps Firstpros limited has taken to prevent Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking in our business and supply chains.
Firstpros Limited is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our operations. We fully support the aims of the Modern Slavery Act and work proactively to ensure that slavery and human trafficking do not take place anywhere in our business or supply chain.
2. Organisation Structure and Supply Chains
Firstpros Limited provides media support services through publication, Public Liaison and all types of consultancy with traffic management and utility companies, primarily across London and the wider UK. We engage with a range of suppliers, printers, labour agencies and product manufacturers, some of whom operate internationally
We recognise that some parts of our supply chain may present a higher risk of modern slavery, especially where subcontracted overseas goods or labour are involved.
3. Our Policies
We have the following policies in place to support our commitment:
- Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy: Outlines our zero tolerance approach and the responsibility of staff and suppliers.
- Code of Conduct: Sets expectations for ethical behaviour and compliance with applicable laws.
- Whistle-blowing Policy: Enable staff and third parties to report concerns confidentially.
4. Due Diligence and Risk Management
To identify and mitigate modern slavery risks; we:
- Conduct supplier assessments prior to engagement, with checks for ethical labour practices.
- Require key suppliers and subcontractors to confirm compliance with the Modern Slavery Act.
- Include anti-slavery clauses in new contracts.
- Monitor higher-risk supplier and follow up on any red flags.
5. Training and awareness
We provide internal training to relevant staff, like human resources, procurement and project managers to raise awareness of modern slavery, how to identify signs of exploitation, and how to report concerns.
We also ensure that staff involved in hiring, supply chain management, or contract delivery are familiar with our policies and obligations under the Act.
6.Performance Monitoring
We review our practices annually and assess effectively using indicators such as:
- Percentage of supplier reviewed for ethical compliance
- Number of staff trained on modern slavery awareness
- Reports received and actions taken under whistle-blowing or safeguarding procedures
7.Continuous Improvement
- Deepen supplier engagement on modern slavery risks
- Improve audit and monitoring of high-risk area
- Enhance internal reporting mechanisms
8.Board Approval
This statement was approved by the Board of Directors on the 3rd of January 2025 and will be reviewed and updated annually.
